Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team, owning the reliability and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities. You’ll build and maintain the cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams to ship high-quality data products faster and more safely.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering, with data engineering work.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, CF/CDK.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools for production cloud environments.
• Strong CI/CD experience across multiple tools.
• Experience with containers and orchestration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/CDK).
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts to ensure reliability and rapid incident response.
• Develop DataOps tooling, templates, and reusable libraries for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and contribute to post-mortems.
