Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team in a hybrid role. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building and maintaining AWS-first cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling that empower data engineers to ship high-quality data products safely.

You will design and operate data pipelines with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, and contribute to data infrastructure through Terraform/CDK,

Formación

• 5+ years of DevOps/platform engineering experience with data engineering work.
• Deep AWS expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC tools, containers, and observability for data platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and data infra.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and/or CDK.
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts for data pipelines and services.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Maintain container infrastructure and workflow orchestration (Airflow/MWAA).
• Lead incident response and drive post-mortems for data platform outages.
