Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and data pipeline delivery, with AWS-first infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data engineers.

You'll design and operate data pipelines using AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, while ensuring security and scale across the platform.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data engineering exposure.
• Strong AWS core services experience and data service familiarity.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and/or CDK for production cloud environments.
• Proven ability to design observability and incident response for data systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workloads and ETL jobs.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure (S3, Glue, Athena, IAM, VPC).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts, tracing for data pipelines.
• Develop self-service tools and templates for data engineers to ship pipelines.
• Manage containers and compute (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda) supporting data services.
• Operate MWAA/Airflow workflows and ensure reliability and scale.
