Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics. You will own cloud infra, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling to empower data engineers to ship high-quality data products safely.

You will design and operate AWS Glue ETL jobs, Athena views, and S3-based data lake components, while improving security, observability, and developer experience across the platform.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or site reliability with data engineering exposure.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform and/or AWS CDK.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL and related data infra.
• Build and manage cloud infra on AWS using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and perform post-mortems.
