Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team on a hybrid schedule. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics, building AWS-first infrastructure, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams.

You'll design and operate data pipelines with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, implementing observability, security, and scalable pipelines.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, with data engineering work.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services such as S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform and/or AWS CDK.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure (S3, IAM, Glue, Athena, VPC, etc.).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts, and incident response.
• Develop DataOps tooling and self-service pipelines for data engineers.
• Manage container and compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Drive security practices: Secrets, least-privilege IAM, network segmentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
