Proofpoint in Cordoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities using AWS-first infrastructure and modern DevOps tooling.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability for data workloads, collaborating with data engineers, scientists, and security partners to ship scalable data products securely.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform / CDK).
• Strong CI/CD experience with pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts to ensure reliability.
• Develop self-service tooling and shared libraries for data pipelines.
• Manage container and compute infra used to support data ingestion services.
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA / Airflow) and serverless components.
• Drive security best practices: secrets, least privilege, network segmentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code/design reviews.
