Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team in a hybrid capacity. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to ship high-quality data products faster and safer. You will design data pipelines using AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, and contribute to data infrastructure across the org.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering with data engineering exposure.
• Deep AWS services knowledge: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform and/or AWS CDK.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL and Athena workloads.
• Build cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform or CDK.
• Own observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop DataOps self-service tooling and templates.
• Manage container infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Drive security practices across the data platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead incident responses.
