Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and advance a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare setting. You will drive ingestion, modeling, and pipeline reliability while collaborating with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, and Security teams.

Key responsibilities include operating Snowflake environments, implementing dbt transformations, orchestration with Argo on Kubernetes, and ensuring data quality, observability, and incident response across the data platform.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
Extensive Snowflake data platform expertise.
Advanced SQL skills and strong dbt experience for transformations, testing, documentation, lineage, and controlled deployment.
Experience with managed ingestion tools such as Fivetran or HVR and custom pipelines.
Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and event‑driven or file‑based ingestion patterns.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform service tower during the LatAm coverage window.
Operate and improve Snowflake production and non‑production environments, including warehouse configuration and sizing.
Administer data access with least‑privilege and audit‑ready controls.
Operate and improve data ingestion across Fivetran and HVR where applicable.
Design, build, and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers.
