Proofpoint, a global leader in cybersecurity, seeks a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to own reliability and automation for data pipelines. You will build cloud infrastructure on AWS, manage CI/CD for ETL jobs, and contribute to data platform observability, security, and efficiency.

Hybrid role based in Cordoba, Argentina. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and security teams to deliver scalable data products and maintain production-grade pipelines with best practices in

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE with 2+ years in data engineering.
• Deep AWS services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager.
• Proficient in IaC: Terraform and/or CDK.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
• Observability systems design: metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with IaC (Terraform/AWS CDK).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts for data pipelines and platform.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable templates.
• Manage container and compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Operate workflow orchestration with MWAA/Airflow and Step Functions.
