Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to own data pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The role blends platform engineering with data engineering, focusing on reliability, automation, and faster delivery of data products.

You will work with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, building scalable, secure data services. The position is hybrid in Córdoba, Argentina, and requires strong IaC, CI/CD, and observability skills, plus mentoring of junior engineers and collaboration with security

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps or site reliability with data engineering exposure.
• Deep AWS knowledge across S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and/or CDK to manage production clouds.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL and data infra.
• Build and manage cloud infra on AWS with IaC (Terraform/CDK).
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts to ensure SLA and fast incident response.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Lead incident responses for data platform outages and post-mortems.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architecture decisions.
