Job summary

Applaudo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) to own end-to-end data pipelines, from paid media accounts to a centralized warehouse. You will integrate Adverity, build robust dbt/Dataform transformations, and deliver dashboards in Looker Studio and automated Sheets.

You’ll collaborate with the Data & Analytics Manager to scale reporting for education and nonprofit clients. You bring 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and BigQuery skills, and experience with CRM data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering in marketing or agency settings.
• Strong SQL and BigQuery experience with modeling and partitioning.
• Proven experience with dbt or Dataform pipelines and Python for API connections.
• CRM integrations (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) and multi-client data environments.
• Understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and paid platform schemas.
• Git-based collaboration and CI/CD awareness; attention to data segregation.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture from paid media to Adverity and warehouse.
• Maintain reliable CRM connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) into the warehouse.
• Design and optimize the Google BigQuery warehouse and schemas for multi-source data.
• Build modular, version-controlled dbt/Dataform transformations with clear naming.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and enforce data segregation across clients.
• Create fast Looker Studio views and automated reports for clients.
• Monitor data quality, resolve API breaks, and flag issues to leadership.
