Job summary

Bluelight Consulting, Llc seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on marketing data integration. You will connect paid media platforms and CRMs into Adverity, engineer a scalable BigQuery warehouse, and deliver modular dbt/Dataform pipelines feeding Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.

You will work with a distributed, async-friendly team to ensure data quality, instrumentation, and rapid, reliable reporting for education and nonprofit clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in marketing or agency settings.
• Proficient in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and pipeline architecture from paid media and CRM sources.
• Build and maintain reliable CRM data connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Manage data warehouse in Google BigQuery with scalable schemas and performance tuning.
• Develop modular, version-controlled SQL transformations using dbt or Dataform.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and enforce data segregation across clients.
• Create reporting views for Looker Studio dashboards and automated Sheets reports.
• Monitor data quality and resolve API breaks across source, warehouse, and BI layers.
