Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing in an Agile environment, using Java or Python.

The role requires 4+ years of backend experience, CRM automation know-how, and familiarity with Jira. This is a remote-friendly position with a global team and growth opportunities across cutting-edge projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
• REST API integration and webhook development experience.
• CRM automation and lead routing systems experience.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java/Python/microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead routing).
• Support AI SDR automation — Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhooks.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work in an agile sprint process with a Jira-based backlog.
