Job summary

AgileEngine, a leading software partner, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations for a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing in an Agile sprint environment using Java or Python.

Experience 4+ years in backend engineering with Salesforce integration or API work is required; remote work options are available with flexible hours.

Qualifications

4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
REST API integration and webhook development.
Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
Familiarity with agile delivery and Jira.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
Work within an agile sprint process with a Jira-based backlog (GTMDR project).
