AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and automation workflows. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based integrations, working with Salesforce APIs and AI-assisted tools in an Agile Sprint environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience (Java OR Python).
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• CRM/lead routing or API integration experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and Spring ecosystem.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate with REST APIs and webhooks.
• Support AI/automation workflows and data platform features.
• Write clean, tested code and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with Jira.
