AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations for a GTM data platform and AI‑assisted sales initiatives.

The role involves developing REST APIs, webhook-based lead routing, and AI SDR automation using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment. Requires 4+ years of backend experience with Salesforce/API integration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
• REST API integration and webhook development.
• Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java/Python/microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead routing).
• Support AI SDR automation including Ghost User, Calendly, and webhooks.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work in an Agile sprint process with a JIRA backlog.
