Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations that support a GTM data platform and AI-enabled sales tools. You will design REST APIs and work within an Agile sprint with a Jira backlog.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of backend experience with Java or Python, strong API integration skills, and familiarity with CRM automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
• REST API integration and webhook development.
• Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
• Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work within an agile sprint process with a Jira-based backlog (GTMDR project).
