AgileEngine is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a Product-led engineering team. You will work with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, tackling operational tooling, observability, and architecture tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend development, proficiency in Java/Kotlin, and experience with MongoDB Atlas, Aurora MySQL, and AWS.

Formación

• 3+ years backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot and GraphQL.
• AWS cloud-native distributed systems experience.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work such as compliance, maintenance, cost-savings, observability and tooling.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, reliable software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design with data-driven validation.
• Participate in code and design reviews to uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including engineers, PMs, data scientists and designers.
• Work with Product Manager and engineers on requirements and mid-level design, focusing on coding, testing and documentation.
