AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment. You will design and operate Kubernetes clusters, implement IaC, and own end-to-end deployment pipelines across multiple clouds.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong scripting, and experience with monitoring stacks. The role offers remote/flexible work, collaboration with global teams, and opportunities to shape platform

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI/CircleCI.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience (EKS/AKS/GKE) and container tooling (Docker/Helm/ArgoCD/Flux).
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; solid SQL; experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Observability experience with New Relic/Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry/ELK/Datadog.
• PCI-compliant or regulated environment security/compliance knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and with teams across time zones; on-call rotation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision – build the roadmap for DevOps and observability in Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform or Pulumi/CloudFormation.
• Own CI/CD pipelines — builds, tests, security scans, blue-green/canary deploys, automated rollback.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads with Helm/ArgoCD/Flux, including autoscaling and ingress.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog; dashboards and SLO-driven alerting.
• Implement security and PCI-aware controls: IAM, SSO, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code.
• Lead incident response — on-call, runbooks, blameless post-mortems, reducing toil.
• Collaborate on internal platform tooling and developer self-service across teams.
