Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead automation for desktop and mobile apps while owning manual validation. You will build robust regression tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability and rapid feedback.

You will collaborate with developers, product, and customer teams to refine testability and acceptance criteria, and you will participate in on-call rotations. Fluency in Gherkin and AI-assisted QA tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for core app flows.
• Manual testing to validate quality against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Record detailed test results and bug repro steps.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and improve regression suites and automation.
