AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated testing for desktop and mobile apps, combining manual testing and exploratory techniques to ensure software quality across platforms.

Responsibilities include building regression scripts, executing diverse testing types, and collaborating with product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC. The role emphasizes CI/CD integration using tools like GitHub Actions and Playwright.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in software QA.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
