Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join our AI-native engineering team remotely from LATAM. The role focuses on production software systems and architectural decisions, leveraging Claude Code, Codex, and other AI coding agents to accelerate delivery.

You will navigate a large codebase, design capabilities for a modern transaction platform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing, maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex codebases.
• Experience designing modern web apps and SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Leverage AI coding agents throughout the lifecycle.
• Build backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Improve testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into solutions.
