Job summary

Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to architect and build AI-native development environments for a modern M&A SaaS platform. You will work on production-grade systems, navigate large codebases, and drive architecture decisions in a remote LATAM setting.

You will leverage Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and reliability, partnering with product leadership to deliver high-impact features.

Qualifications

• Strong production software experience and ownership of large systems.
• Excellent fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases and SaaS/web apps.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD, deployments, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues for improvement.
• Use AI coding agents extensively across the development lifecycle.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack and strengthen testing and observability.
• Improve development workflows and automation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across layers.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into solutions.
