Darwoft is a LATAM-based software company delivering AI-native, production-ready software with a remote-first approach. We seek a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to help design and evolve a large SaaS platform using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Copilot to accelerate delivery.

You will work on backend/services, APIs, data models, and deployment automation, while ensuring reliability, maintainability, and high-quality code in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production software systems.
• Excellent fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering experience with modern languages & frameworks.
• Experience building modern web applications and SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of APIs, architecture, integrations, data modeling, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions to support scale.
• Identify technical debt, risks, and reliability issues.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI agents extensively in development.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack and improve testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Strengthen development workflows and tooling.
