Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, LATAM-focused, remote role. You’ll work on a modern transaction platform enabling complex M&A workflows, leveraging Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining architecture and reliability.

The role emphasizes ownership, pragmatic design, and building production software in a remote-first, international team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack experience with modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience building web apps and SaaS products.
• Understanding of APIs, architecture, integrations, data modeling, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities in a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify debt, risks, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, and similar AI coding agents extensively.
• Leverage AI to explore codebases, generate/refactor code, debug, and write tests.
