Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join a remote, LATAM-based team. You will work on an AI-native transaction platform-specific software, leveraging Claude Code and Codex to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong software engineering fundamentals.

The role focuses on navigating a large codebase, making architectural decisions, and building production-grade backend and frontend capabilities for a SaaS product. Remote collaboration with international teams is essential.

Formación

• Hands-on experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases and SaaS products.
• Backend or full-stack proficiency with modern languages and frameworks.
• Knowledge of APIs, data modeling, distributed systems, and cloud environments.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, and reliability issues for improvement.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, and similar AI agents throughout development.
• Leverage AI to explore codebases, generate/refactor code, debug, and accelerate delivery.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack and strengthen automated testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
