Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native transaction platform. You’ll work remotely across LATAM, building production software with AI agents like Claude Code and Codex.

You’ll shape architecture, navigate a large codebase, and drive reliability and velocity in a small, high-impact team. You’ll leverage AI beyond code completion to understand codebases, design implementations, generate production code, and accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

Formación

• Proven track record building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack experience with modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience building web apps and SaaS products.
• Understanding of APIs, architectures, integrations, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and production data environments.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across the SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, and reliability issues.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot or similar AI coding agents extensively.
• Leverage AI to explore code, generate/refactor code, debug, and test.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Balance speed with long-term maintainability.
