Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer (AI-Native/Claude Code/Codex) for LATAM. The role is remote, with contractor engagement paid in USD.

You will engineer production software in a modern transaction platform, using AI coding agents to accelerate delivery and maintainability. The ideal candidate combines deep software engineering fundamentals with AI-native development practices, taking ownership of complex systems and driving architectural decisions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong production software experience including architecture, system design, debugging and maintainability.
• Experience operating large or complex codebases in production.
• Backend or full-stack engineering with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience building modern web applications and SaaS products.
• Understanding APIs, architecture, data modeling and distributed systems.

Responsabilités

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues and improve them.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI agents extensively in development lifecycle.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows and tooling.
