Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join our AI-native engineering team. You’ll work on a modern transaction platform with Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents, shaping architecture and production software across a large codebase.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, balance speed with reliability, and collaborate with product leadership to translate business problems into technical solutions. This is remote, LATAM‑focused, full‑time contractor work paid in USD.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on production software experience and strong fundamentals in architecture and system design.
• Experience with large or complex codebases and modern web/ SaaS development is essential.
• Ability to reason through trade-offs and make pragmatic architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase; design new capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales; address debt and reliability.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI agents throughout development.
• Build backend services, data models, APIs, and integrations; contribute across the stack.
