Job summary

Bluelight Consulting, Llc is seeking an UX Analyst focusing on product workflows for a Field Operations SaaS. You will map field-to-office processes, redesign flows, and write detailed specs to guide engineering.

The role emphasizes process over visuals and requires collaboration with a paired designer and the Head of Engineering. You bring experience crafting complex multi-step workflows for B2B/SaaS, systems thinking, strong Figma proficiency, and an ability to document clear flows and edge

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows for B2B or SaaS products.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end flow from problem to mapping to logic.
• Systems thinking: design for states, branches, errors and edge cases.
• Write clear flow documentation and specs for engineering to build from.
• Strong Figma skills for mapping, prototyping, and handoff.
• Familiarity with AI tools to iterate options quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Focus on accessibility: contrast, tap targets, text size, focus order.

Responsibilities

• Map property management workflows end to end, from field capture to sync to review to report.
• Redesign flows with fewer steps by talking to workflow users.
• Specify logic, branches, and edge cases for engineering implementation.
• Design offline and retry states so users see status when signal is weak.
• Prototype in Figma and validate with quick usability tests.
• Prepare annotated specs (states, rules, microcopy) for easier build.
• Review builds, log issues precisely, and verify fixes before sign-off.
