Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to work remotely with a U.S.-based higher education marketing agency. You will own technical audits, optimize crawlability, and craft dev-ready specs while also building Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production.

You will collaborate with the SEO Lead and the Executive Director of SEO, managing multiple client accounts and driving scalable SEO systems with strong written communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Proven ability to lead across multiple client accounts
• Hands-on with Claude-based workflows and AI-assisted auditing

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts: audits, specs, and verification
• Develop and maintain WordPress-related fixes and schema implementations
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, QA, and content production
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to detect drops and indexing issues
• Design scalable systems for the SEO service and train the team
