Job summary

Connections Education Llc is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving U.S. higher education marketing accounts. You will own technical audits, create developer-ready specs, and drive AI-enabled workflows using Claude to optimize audits, QA, and content production.

You will collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, tackling high-impact issues across multiple sites and building systems that scale the service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Track record of uncovering high-impact site issues and prioritizing fixes.
• Hands-on with Claude and AI-assisted workflows for audits and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend calls.
• Write dev-ready specs and follow through to fixes.
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, schema.
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing problems.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO).
• Build scalable systems for the SEO service and Claude-based tools.
• Document systems, train the team, measure time saved and results.
• Join client calls for deep technical topics; support team and client success.
