Job summary

Connections Education Llc is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for remote work with a U.S.-based higher education marketing agency. You will lead technical SEO across client accounts, run audits, write dev-ready specs, and implement WordPress changes to boost visibility.

You will also design Claude-based tools and workflows to automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production, surfacing time-saving improvements. Collaboration with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO is expected.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and GA4.
Strong WordPress knowledge including themes, plugins, redirects, and schema.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts and priorities across multiple sites.
Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams and follow through to fixes.
Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema via Yoast or Rank Math.
Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems early.
Design and build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, QA, and reporting.
Build scalable systems for SEO service and content production pipelines.
Join client calls to explain deep technical topics alongside the SEO Lead.
