Job summary

Connections Education Llc is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to own technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partner accounts. You’ll improve visibility in traditional search, answer engines, and AI-driven search while building Claude-based tools to streamline audits, reporting, QA, and content production.

You’ll collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, handling on-page schema, redirects, and WordPress tweaks, and ensuring fixes are released and verified.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with 3+ focused on technical SEO.
• Experience across multiple sites, agency setting preferred.
• Strong ability to write developer-ready specs.
• Proven track record of identifying high-impact issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits on crawlability, indexation, site structure and core web vitals.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions.
• Write dev-ready specs and follow fixes to release.
• Handle light WordPress tasks: titles, meta, redirects, schema.
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing problems.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, QA, and content production.
• Design scalable systems for the SEO service.
• Document systems and train the team on them.
