Job summary
Connections Education Llc is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving a U.S.-based higher education marketing agency. You will oversee technical SEO across a portfolio of partner accounts, identify issues impacting rankings, and write specs for developers to implement fixes.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
- Agency experience preferred or across multiple sites
- Proficient with Google Search Console and GA4
- Experience with Claude AI-based workflows and tooling
Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO across client accounts and defend prioritizations
- Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links
- Write developer-ready specs and follow fixes through until verification
- Handle light WordPress changes (titles, meta descriptions, redirects, schema)
- Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems
- Prepare AI-ready readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and entity optimization
- Build scalable systems to run the SEO service and document them
- Train the team on new systems and measure time saved and results improved
