Job summary

Our client seeks a Technical SEO Lead to drive technical SEO across a portfolio of higher-education partner accounts, focusing on traditional and AI-driven search visibility. You will write dev-ready specs, oversee fixes, and build Claude-based tools to streamline audits, reporting, and QA.

You bring 5+ years in SEO with a strong technical focus, hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/Semrush, and proficiency in WordPress and Claude AI workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and getting fixes implemented.
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge for plugin and schema work.
• Experience building Claude-based AI tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site structure, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend those calls.
• Write developer-ready specs and ensure fixes are released and verified.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, QA, and content production.
