Job summary

BlueTuskr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to oversee technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education marketing partners. You’ll run audits, write dev-ready specs, and drive AI-enabled workflows to streamline audits, reporting, and QA.

The role emphasizes performance, remote collaboration, and ownership of optimization across multiple sites. You’ll bring 5+ years in SEO (3+ in technical SEO), hands-on tools like GSC/GA4/Screaming Frog, and strong WordPress knowledge.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
Proven ability to uncover high-impact site issues and fix them.
Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/Semrush.
Strong WordPress knowledge and ability to specify fixes clearly.
Advanced experience with Claude, building agents and AI-assisted workflows.
Clear written communication and multi-account ownership.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions.
Write developer-ready specs and ensure fixes are released and verified.
Handle light WordPress tweaks: titles, meta, redirects, and schema via Yoast/Rank Math.
Monitor GSC and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems early.
Own AI-ready readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and data structures.
Design and build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, and QA.
Build content production systems from briefs to near-publish drafts.
Document systems, train the team, and measure time savings and results.
