Job summary

Monnet Group seeks a Technical SEO Lead to own technical SEO across higher education partner accounts. You will run audits, write dev-ready specs, and build Claude-based tools to automate audits and reporting. The role emphasizes cross-account ownership, WordPress fluency, and AI-driven content strategies.

You will monitor GSC/GA4, prioritize fixes, and scale the SEO service with reusable systems. Fully remote work with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
Agency or multi-site experience preferred
Hands-on with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Strong WordPress knowledge for schema and redirects
Clear written communication for specs and client guidance

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts and build Claude-based workflows
Run technical audits: crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal links, Core Web Vitals, redirects
Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions
Write developer-ready specs and verify fixes
Handle WordPress titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema with Yoast/Rank Math
Monitor GSC and GA4 for drops, errors, indexing problems
Build scalable SEO systems and Claude-based tools for audits, QA, and reporting
Translate team standards into reusable systems for the whole team
Integrate Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows
Document systems and train the team; measure time saved and results
