Mototech, Inc. is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to manage a portfolio of higher education accounts in a fully remote role for a U.S.-based agency.

You will drive technical SEO audits, develop developer-ready specs, and build Claude-based tools to automate audits, QA, and content production. You will collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, owning outcomes across multiple client sites and shaping AI-enabled search readiness for GSC/GA4 monitoring, structured data, and content

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO, ideally across multiple sites
• Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues and prioritize fixes
• Hands-on experience with GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes precisely
• Clear written communication; write specs developers can act on

Aufgaben

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, defending those calls
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, then follow through until fixes are released and verified
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugin-level redirects, and schema
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and content structure for LLM-driven search
• Build systems that scale the SEO service
• Design and build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, prioritization, reporting, and QA
• Build content production systems translating briefs into near-publish-ready drafts
• Translate standards into reusable systems for the team
• Connect Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows
• Document systems, train the team, measure time saved or results improved
