Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin to lead the commercial strategy and drive growth through strong customer engagement and technical insight.

You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiations, interacting with operators like YPF and Pluspetrol, and collaborate across teams to ensure service excellence and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins, preferably Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering and procurement.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE and company standards.
