Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a senior Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate across functions to deliver high‑quality service and value to customers.

This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong client engagement, and the ability to translate engineering concepts into commercial opportunities. Flexible office presence is supported as teams are co‑located in our offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPI understanding.
• Experience with operators in shale basins is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication to translate technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations and post‑well analyses to show service value.
