Job summary

MAVI is seeking a Head of Strategic Finance to own strategic finance initiatives for a high-growth US company, working remotely from Argentina. You will lead the planning function, report to the CFO, and ensure the operating plan, forecast, and decision-support quality across the company.

You will oversee strategic projects, fundraising models, unit economics analysis, and board materials, while guiding the FP&A team and strengthening executive reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical finance experience.
• Experience leading an FP&A team and owning a company-wide operating plan.
• Experience with strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking analysis.
• Experience with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and a planning tool such as Pigment or Causal.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic finance projects, modeling new products, markets, and pricing approaches.
• Build investor models and data room materials for fundraising.
• Analyze unit economics and levers affecting them.
• Prepare the financial sections of board and investor updates.
• Evaluate acquisition targets and build integration cases.
• Lead and develop the FP&A team and influence business planning, measurement, and reporting.
• Own the monthly business review and the board's financial narrative.
