Job summary

MAVI is seeking a Fractional CFO to serve as the part-time senior finance leader for a high-growth US company, working remotely from Argentina. You will be accountable for the financial strategy, planning, reporting, and capital, collaborating directly with the CEO, board, and investors.

This is a senior finance seat with ownership over the finance function, cash runway, investor updates, and capital strategy, leading FP&A and accounting as growth demands scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical finance.
• Experience leading a finance function and reporting to a CEO and board.
• Experience as a CFO, fractional CFO, or senior finance leader at early-stage companies.
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the CEO's finance partner on fundraising, pricing, and hiring.
• Set up the finance function, close process, and reporting.
• Own the cash forecast and runway.
• Prepare investor updates and board financials.
• Set the financial plan and capital strategy, and own conversations with the board and investors.
• Lead accounting and FP&A, and build the team, systems, and controls the next growth needs.
