Job summary

Front Door Defense is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on marketing data to support education-focused clients. You will own end-to-end data pipelines from ad platforms and CRM into a central warehouse, with modular dbt/Dataform transformations and Looker Studio reporting.

Remote role with async-first team and competitive compensation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/BigQuery, and experience with Adverity or similar ETL tools, plus CRM integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in marketing/agency environments.
• Experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in Adverity or equivalents.
• Strong SQL with BigQuery experience in transformation and modeling.
• Expertise in dbt or Dataform for modular pipelines, version-controlled code.
• Python proficiency for API connections and automation.
• CRM data flows experience (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Solid grasp of ROAS, CPA, CAC and paid platform schemas.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture from paid media & CRM into Adverity; build Python connectors.
• Maintain reliable CRM connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) to warehouse.
• Design and optimize BigQuery schemas and data storage strategy.
• Build dbt/Dataform transformations with clear naming conventions.
• Manage CI/CD and data segregation in multi-client environments.
• Create clean data views for Looker Studio dashboards and Sheets reports.
• Monitor quality, troubleshoot, and reduce latency across layers.
