Job summary

Agileengine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) for a remote role serving education and nonprofit clients. You will own end-to-end data ingestion, CRM integrations, and the data warehouse, ensuring clean, scalable pipelines and accurate reporting.

You will design modular dbt/Dataform transformations, maintain CI/CD and data segregation across clients, and optimize Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports for leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, ideally in marketing or agency settings.
• Strong experience configuring data streams and destinations in ETL platforms like Adverity, Fivetran, or Funnel.
• Advanced SQL with BigQuery experience for transformation and modeling.
• Expertise in dbt or Dataform and modular, version-controlled pipelines.
• Python proficiency for custom API connections and automation.
• Experience with CRM data flows (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and paid platform schemas.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture—from paid media sources into Adverity and warehouse.
• Own CRM integration to ensure lead/enrollment data flows into the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery; design efficient schemas and manage storage & performance.
• Own transformation pipelines in dbt/Dataform with clear naming conventions.
• Maintain CI/CD and data segregation for multi-client environments.
• Enable fast Looker Studio dashboards and automated Google Sheets reports.
• Monitor data quality and resolve API breaks, minimizing latency.
