Job summary

JpmorganChase is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on marketing analytics to connect paid media data, CRM sources, and automate reporting across Looker Studio and Google Sheets.

The role centers on building scalable data pipelines, maintaining data quality, and enabling fast, accurate dashboards for education marketing clients. Remote-friendly, with a strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, ideally in marketing or agency environments.
• Strong experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in Adverity or comparable ETL platforms (Fivetran, Supermetrics, Funnel).
• Intermediate to advanced SQL, with proven BigQuery transformation, partitioning, and modeling skills.
• Expertise in dbt or Dataform, managing modular, version-controlled SQL pipelines.
• Python proficiency for custom API connections and pipeline automation.
• Experience with CRM data flows and integrations (Slate, Salesforce, and/or HubSpot).
• Understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and paid platform schemas, to optimize Looker Studio performance.
• Git and collaborative development workflows; ability to manage multi-client data environments with strict data segregation.
• Analytical, solution-driven mindset with strong communication skills; education marketing experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture, connecting APIs from paid media platforms into Adverity and building scalable pipelines to the warehouse.
• Own CRM integration to ensure lead/enrollment data flows cleanly into the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery; design schemas, manage partitioning, clustering, and storage strategy.
• Own transformation & mapping; develop modular, version-controlled SQL pipelines with clear naming conventions.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for robust releases and data segregation across clients.
• Enable the reporting layer by creating optimized views for Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement validation frameworks across source/warehouse/BI layers.
