Pyyne Digital seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to join a startup-like environment with a strong ownership mindset. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Java and Python, craft distributed systems, and drive AI-assisted development workflows.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, deep backend expertise, and advanced English. This is a fully remote role with LATAM flexibility, offering ownership and impact on the engineering roadmap.

Formación

• 8+ years of software or backend development experience.
• 5+ years using Python in production-grade systems.
• Strong Java programming experience.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development experience
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Production exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ownership and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features end-to-end from design to monitoring.
• Focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to translate requirements.
• Improve platform performance and scalability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools for delivery quality.
• Participate in architectural decisions as the company scales.
• Advance development processes, tooling, and standards.
