Pyyne Digital is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale backend services in Java and Python. This role offers 100% remote work from LATAM with ownership of features end-to-end. You will design and maintain distributed systems, integrate AI/LLM workflows, and collaborate with a fast-moving team to deliver reliable, high-performance products.

Advanced English and startup mindset required. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and data pipelines is preferred.

Formación

• 8+ years in software or backend development.
• 5+ years Python production systems.
• Strong Java experience.
• Experience with AI/LLM-based development in production.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and async processing.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Ownership mindset in startup/fast-paced settings.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle from design to monitoring.
• Build production-ready systems with reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while preserving quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions as we scale.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and standards.
