Pyyne Digital is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems in a remote-friendly environment. The role emphasizes ownership, architecture discussions, and AI-assisted development workflows in a fast-moving startup.

You will work with Java, Python, distributed systems, and modern tech like Docker and Kubernetes, delivering reliable production services with performance and maintainability in mind. LATAM remote setup offered.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering or backend development.
• 5+ years with Python, building production-grade backends.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development experience is preferred.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, queues, and pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Take ownership of features from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready, reliable and high-performance systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements.
• Improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to speed delivery while ensuring quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions.
• Continuously improve development processes and standards.
