Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile testing for our fintech applications. You will build and maintain automated suites while performing manual testing where needed to ensure quality across platforms.

Responsibilities include integrating tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), debugging flaky tests, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to enhance testability and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA automation experience.
• Hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
